NASHVILLE DEBUT 2022
Three Nights of Live Rock with Projection and Burlesque Alien Dancers

IMMERSIVE
The government knows the truth about Extraterrestrial visitors. They’ve known about it for years. And they were about to come clean but someone or something sent the researchers into hiding. We’ve located their offices and the clues they left behind. Who are they? And what do they want?

THE MUSICAL
The year was 1947. Two guitar-crazed alien teenagers hear Arthur Crudup’s guitar lead on “That’s All Right, Mama,” which was blasting through the AM waves up into their solar system. They steal their parent’s spaceships and buzz down to feel the earth shake under their feet.

THE BUZZ
ROLLING STONE SAYS:
“Having lived in Nashville for the past “boom decade” and working at Rolling Stone for the bulk of that, I’ve experienced some truly one-of-a-kind nights. (X-)File They Came to Rock! near the top of that list.
The songs are as magnetic as a tractor beam, the storyline is kitschy cool, and the MoonRock Orchestra band is, well, out of this world.
Of course it was aliens who taught earthlings about rock & roll—here’s hoping they return again and take us to their leader.”
—Joseph Hudak, editor, Rolling Stone

NASHVILLE LIFESTYLES SAYS:
“Space is no longer the final frontier—it’s the first place I want to take anyone who comes to visit.
They Came to Rock! is somehow both quintessentially Nashville and like nothing else within Music City’s orbit. Between the neon-lit go-go dancers and the band rocking out to catchy songs inspired by music’s greatest eras, it was a feast for the eyes and ears. I laughed, I cried, I danced my blast off.”
—Alison Abbey, editor-in-chief, Nashville Lifestyles

“What extraterrestrial society wouldn't be seduced by this miraculous form of music—which immediately ignites the soul of any sentient being and provokes a frenzy of dancing and singing and uninhibited joy? Of course the aliens would have wanted in on the action!”
–Lord Rutledge of Faster and Louder

“The most essential soundtrack album to be released in a good while”
–Faster and Louder
“...most fun extraterrestrial affair...”
–WBUR
“It had a cosmic, galactic almost other-worldly charm”
–Maximum Volume Music
“It’s a trip through space and time – emphasis on trip”
–Power Pop News
“An intergalactic musical experience that you can’t afford to miss.”
–The Whole Kameese
“Hells bells. Hallelujah. Rock ‘n’ roll is here to stay.”
–Turn Up The Volume
"this is a highly entertaining and enjoyable record that gets the balance between humour and songwriting just right. Mars attacks, but Amplifier Heads save the day!"
–Fear And Loathing
